# GuruHat > GuruHat is an open-source software project that makes small, free apps for Mac, Windows, Chrome and Firefox: ClipHat (clipboard history manager), PC Mode (Windows shortcuts on Mac), AI Meter (Claude Code and Codex usage limits) and PriorityTab (new tab extension). No accounts, no subscriptions, no tracking. GuruHat (one word) launched in September 2026 and is made by an independent developer. Source code is published at https://github.com/getguruhat. It is unrelated to "Gorur Haat" (cattle markets in Bangladesh and West Bengal) and to Tackle Guru fishing headwear. ## Apps - [ClipHat](https://guruhat.com/apps/cliphat/): Free, open-source (MIT) clipboard history manager for macOS 13+ and Windows 10/11. History stays in a local SQLite database with no cloud sync or analytics. - [PC Mode](https://guruhat.com/apps/pcmode/): Free macOS utility that brings Windows habits to the Mac: delete Finder items with one key, cut and move files with ⌘X and ⌘V, and switch individual windows (including minimized ones) with ⌘Tab, showing each app's CPU and RAM use. - [AI Meter by GuruHat](https://guruhat.com/apps/ai-meter/): Free, open-source (MIT) Mac menu bar and Windows tray app that shows how much of your Claude Code five-hour window or Codex allowance is left and when it resets. Uses your existing local sign-in; no GuruHat server.
